GAMIFIED WORKSHOP

Raisina House hosted by Malaviya Centre for Peace Research, Banaras Hindu University is organising a Gamified Workshop on the theme of “Competition, Collaboration & the Geopolitics of Climate Change” at MCPR, BHU. The 2 Hour session will comprise of a 30 Minute Lecture on the Theme followed by a 1.5 hr. Gamified Session using EnRoads Simulator. 

The initial lecture will focus on how Climate Change over the years have not just impacted human Lives but have for the last couple years started impacting the way nation states interact with Each Other. Climate Action inspires Collaboration & Instigates Competition affecting regional Geopolitics on the basis of resource competition among nations states. 

The Gamified Workshop will simulate the scenario with 4-5 groups playing. The Groups will be divided into countries & regions and will be provided a carpet scenario with a common Goal. 45 Minutes into the Game, the groups will receive a Shock scenario, which will showcase the volatility & uncertainty of Geopolitics. At the end of the game, the groups will make a 5 Min presentation on how they have worked & the results. 

The workshop will be followed by the MoU Signing Ceremony between Raisina House & Malaviya Centre for Peace Research.
